It is not necessary to arrange for cremation prior to your home euthanasia appointment. Payment for euthanasia is due at the time of service. Payment for communal cremation is due at time of service.

Payment for private cremation is collected by cremation service.

Private Cremation – This option, your pet is cremated privately at a licensed crematory. Please inquire for more information and details about cremains delivery.

Ashes of pets who are cremated individually are returned after the cremation process. Pet ashes are available in approximately 1-2 weeks after your home euthanasia visit.

Note: Paws & Reflect offers cremation services through our cremation partner, Pets at Peace. Some families have had prior pet cremation experience with a different cremation provider in our area and may wish to honor their pet in using that same service. We support you with that decision and the comfort it may bring. If that is the case, please reach out directly to that cremation service to make arrangements for care.

Communal Cremation – Pets are cremated with other pets and the ashes are scattered together and there is no return to the owner.

The cost for communal cremation is as follows:

2 – 99lbs : $65

100lbs +: $95

At home burial – You may choose to bury your pet at your home, be sure to check local regulations.

It is recommended your pet be buried at a depth of four feet away from any water sources or drainage.
